Cal Poly’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host six brilliant tech-driven startups from Central California in a pitch competition to win $100,000+ in equity-backed funding at the fifth annual AngelCon on Thursday, April 21st at 5 p.m.
The hybrid event will take place in person (pending COVID-19 regulations) at SLO Brew Rock and stream on YouTube Live.

The SBA Fresno District office today announced three San Joaquin Valley and Central Coast companies as 2022’s outstanding small businesses. These companies will be honored next month during National Small Business Week.
Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will be joined by Kurtis Clark, executive director of the Central CA Regional SBDC network. Clark will discuss the nearly $800,000 in microgrants that will be coming to Central California through the SBDC from the California Dream Fund Seed Grant Program. He will take a detailed look at the eligibility requirements, training options, and overall framework applicants need to know if they want to apply.
