Modesty always looks better on heroes than boastfulness, and so it's to the credit of Bakersfield small-business counselor Kelly Bearden when he downplays his own role as a reason why the weekly webinar he hosts has become a lifeline to entrepreneurs during the pandemic.

Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will discuss a potential new round of COVID-19 assistance for restaurants and businesses that serve in-person clientele the Senate is looking to pass in March. He will also focus on application details for Kern County’s $1.2 million Microbusiness Relief Grant Program. 

Additional topics will include revitalization of the Employee Retention Tax Credit, updates on the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program, other available grant programs, and more.
