This includes the newly opened PPP loan forgiveness portal, the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program [EIDL], supplemental and targeted EIDL, and more.

Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden be joined by Richard S. Gearhart, CSUB Associate Professor of Economics from the school of Business & Public Administration. Dr. Gearhart will discuss how Kern County’s economy has fared through the pandemic.
Bearden will also take a detailed look at the SBA’s online portal that opens tomorrow. Business owners who received loans of $150,000 or less will be able to directly seek forgiveness through the SBA rather than through the bank that administered their PPP loan.
