Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will be joined by Andy Seeto, lender relations specialist with the U.S. Small Business Administration in Fresno, to discuss recent information on SBA’s pandemic government business relief programs. This includes the newly opened PPP loan forgiveness portal, the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program [EIDL], supplemental and targeted EIDL, and more. 

Questions from attendees will be taken.

Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden be joined by Richard S. Gearhart, CSUB Associate Professor of Economics from the school of Business & Public Administration. Dr. Gearhart will discuss how Kern County’s economy has fared through the pandemic.

Bearden will also take a detailed look at the SBA’s online portal that opens tomorrow. Business owners who received loans of $150,000 or less will be able to directly seek forgiveness through the SBA rather than through the bank that administered their PPP loan.
