Tony's Fusion Food

From the food and beverage industry, Tony’s Fusion Foods has innovated the process of making a traditional Mexican dish known as Birria. Tony’s Fusion Foods operates out of a local food processing company. From here we take Nelia’s La Autentica Birria Sauce and distribute it to local grocery stores, local pop-up events, and online for resale. After having to shut down a previous food business, “Tony’s Coconut Fusion” the owner found herself in a pivotal stage. She noticed a trend on social media that would allow her to introduce an innovative food product into the market. In 2021 Nelia’s La Autentica Birria Sauce was launched and has been growing ever since.

I have lived in an underserved community for most of my life. Without a proper education I would not be where I am today. As a first-generation college graduate, I have broken the barrier to entry in building generational wealth for my family. I am motivated by my mother who is my greatest inspiration and by the life I had growing up. My life experiences have molded me into becoming the person I am today. I want to inspire others who find themselves in these underserved communities to believe that anything you set your mind to is possible.
