Captain Dom grew up in western Pennsylvania, attended college at Duke University in the Naval ROTC program, and completed graduate education at the National Defense University. During his 26-year Navy career, George was a member of various high performance teams and continues to fly today.
In addition to speaking on high performance, leadership, and teamwork, he is currently the COO of ACI Jet, providing corporate aircraft management, charter, maintenance and ground handling services in central and southern California.
Emma Thieme, owns the Cayucos boutique shop Maven Leather + Design, where she makes and sells her original leather creations as well as furniture, jewelry, painting, and ceramics produced by local artists.
Thieme opened her storefront in 2020. Originally from Maine, she drove across the country in her van with her dog, hitting arts and crafts shows, festivals, and farmers markets along the way. She packed up her sewing machine, tools, and materials, and she traveled from one coast to the other.
