SBIR & STTR Funding for Small Businesses - What Are These Grants and How You Can Apply

Small businesses engaged in Research & Development (R&D) may be eligible to access government dollars through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.

SBIR provides early-stage research and development funding to small technology companies or individuals who are interested in forming a company. STTR is a similar program that requires small businesses to team up with a research institution, such as a university.

SBA 7a & 504 Loans for Businesses

Information on the Small Business Administration’s 7a and 504 loan programs, and recent SBA loan program changes are among topics of this week’s free webinar presented by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield.
