Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will be joined by CPA Michael Stevenson, with the accounting firm Barbich, Hooper, King, Dill & Hoffman, to discuss the Employer Retention Tax Credit that began in second quarter of 2020 and remains open to eligible businesses through the end of 2021. 

In an easy-to-understand format, Stevenson will also discuss the evolution of the ERC, strategies for implementing the ERC in conjunction with other government pandemic relief programs, differences between the calculation periods, and anticipated changes going forward.

Additional updates include recent sweeping changes to the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program [EIDL], supplemental and targeted EIDL, PPP loan forgiveness, California Relief Grant program, and more.
