*WEBINAR: Managing Your Small Business through the Pandemic - March 24

California Relief Grant Program’s additional $1.5 billion and the $10,000 Targeted EIDL Grants for businesses in lower income areas are among the topics for this week’s free webinar presented by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield.
Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will discuss the $1.5 billion available for eligible small businesses through the California Relief Grant Program’s round five that opens this Thursday. He will also provide updates on the Paycheck Protection Program, the new Bakersfield ReStart Loan-to-Grant Program, extension of the Employee Retention Tax Credit and more.
Bearden will be joined by Morgan Clayton, CEO and president of Tel-Tec Security Systems, Inc. to talk about results from a recent “boots on the ground” community survey, and a new pilot program designed to target and fast-track underserved small businesses for government pandemic relief programs. Questions from attendees will be taken.
This marks the 54th in the weekly “Webinar Wednesday” series that provides pandemic relief updates on available federal, state, and local funding options, tax credit programs, employee programs, and other opportunities helpful to employers and business owners.
The SBDC is open for free one-on-one consulting to help small business owners with the Targeted EIDL Advance, PPP, California Relief Grant and other government pandemic assistance programs.
