Small businesses can learn tips on how to win government contracts Oct. 7

Local companies interested in learning how to effectively pitch their business to government can pick up some tips from Cameron Bruce, former Business Development Officer at the Naval Weapons Air Station China Lake, in this week’s free webinar hosted by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield. 

Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will kick off the webinar with recent changes to PPP forgiveness, and updates on city and county pandemic business assistance programs. He will be joined by Bruce, a 35-year veteran of China Lake. Their discussion will cover a variety of opportunities available for doing business with one of the world’s largest customers, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). Questions from attendees will be taken.
