SBDC webinar to discuss small business lending with local lenders July 29

Small businesses can hear two local lenders discuss how their financial institution will proceed with the Paycheck Protection Program (“PPP”) loan conditions and forgiveness calculations in this week’s free webinar hosted by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield.

Guest host, Keith Brice, president and CEO of Mid State Development Corporation will lead a detailed discussion on small business lending in Kern County with Mission Bank CEO A.J. Antongiovanni, and Valley Strong Credit Union VP Deanna Blaise.

Topics will include local borrowing options, local lenders programs, and borrower forgiveness for the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program, plus Kern Recovers and Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) programs. Questions from attendees will be taken. Register online at www.tinyurl.com/BusinessRelief20 to attend.

This is the 20th in a weekly “Webinar Wednesday” series that provides pandemic relief updates on available federal, state, and local funding options and stimulus packages, tax credit programs, employee programs, plus other opportunities for employers and business owners.

The SBDC and Mid State Development Corporation are open for SBA 504 business loan inquiries. New and existing businesses can sign up for free one-on-one consulting with the SBDC by clicking here!
