Managing Your Small Business During the Pandemic Crisis: Crowdfunding

Nationally acclaimed crowdfunding industry expert Ruth E. Hedges will discuss the role crowdfunding is playing with small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic in this week’s free webinar hosted by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield.
Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will kick off the webinar with latest news on SBA PPP guidance and other business assistance programs. He will be joined by Hedges, founder of Crowdfundingroadmap, Inc. She was dubbed “Queen of Crowdfunding” by Forbes for her efforts to educate people about the industry and for being one of the original pioneers of legislation signed into law as the crowdfunding bill of the 2012 JOBS Act. She will talk about the many options and potential of crowdfunding for viable small businesses moving forward. Questions from attendees will be taken.
