UC Merced SBDC Procurement Services
Specialized Services: To assist Central California small businesses in how to do business with Federal, State and local government agencies.
Eligibility: Small business may receive SBDC procurement services provided it has a product or service that has reasonable expectation of being procured under government, major Corporation, private sector contract or purchase order.
Cost: $75 annually
• Automated bid matching on a daily bases from over 2000 federal, state and local agencies, tailored to individual client specifications according to NAICS codes and keywords.
There is no cost to the small businesses to receive the following services.
• Business, Management and Financial consultation.
• Pre/post-award contract assistance.
• Information on electronic commerce/electronic data interchange.
• Workshop/Seminar/Webinar on a variety of contracting topics.
• Assistance on small minority, women-owned, and disabled veteran certifications.
• Referrals to other assistance activities where appropriate.
• Help in locating subcontracting opportunities.
